Don't forget to purchase your tickets for "Haunting on the Harriott!"  The annual Halloween cruise will take place on Saturday, October 29th.  It will begin boarding at 8 p.m., depart at 8:30 p.m. and cruise until 10:30 p.m.  There will also be optional dockside from 10:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Good Afternoon everyone!  This weekend there are several fun events happening, most notably the Riverwalk Wine Festival!  It will be happening tomorrow afternoon from 1-4 p.m. down at the Riverfront.  There will be wine tasting from 11 different distributors representing over 100 wineries.  Admission is $25.  Following the wine festival there will be a Harriott II Wine Fest Cruise.  Plan on joining us for these events! They will be a blast!  If you are looking for something else to do this weekend there will be a Blues Cruise taking place on Sunday evening.

If you missed this weekend down at the Riverfront you missed a lot.  The Zombie Prom/Walk took place on Friday night, which had a turnout of around 500 people and benefited the Montgomery Food Bank.  The Hogs N' Hens Cookoff, benfiting Family Promise of Montgomery, had a huge turnout, filling up the Train Shed.  The Montgomery Half-Marathon brought more than 2,000 participants to Montgomery.  The runners had a scenic route that included passing through downtown, by local colleges along with the Governor's mansion.

Welcoming in a new month is always exciting, but October is going to be great!  There are so many things planned for this upcoming month that you will have a problem deciding what you want to do!  For instance, this weekend is jam packed with activities.  Before jumping into October there are several things to choose from on Friday, September 30^th.  The Harriott II will be offering its Dinner Cruise; there is a Hogs and Hens Cook Off in the Train Shed along with the Zombie Prom!

Don't forget to come out for Dine and Dash tonight to help benefit the food bank!  It will go from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in downtown Montgomery.  Come and try out some foods from the participating restaurants which include The House, The Exchange, The Olive Room, The Deli, Sa Za’s, Dreamland BBQ & AlleyBAR.

Tomorrow night at the Union Station Train Shed there will be a "Light the Night Walk" to benefit the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.  Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the walk begins at 7 p.m.  I encourage all of you to come out and support this great cause!
